Top 5 Maps & Navigation Apps on Android in Mexico: Q4 2024

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw notable trends in the performance of the top Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in Mexico, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 169K in late December. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 10.8M and ending at about 9.9M.

Uber - Request a ride experienced growth in weekly downloads, reaching 144K by late December. Active users also saw a rise, peaking at around 5.6M in early December before declining to 4.6M by the end of the month.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares maintained a consistent download trend, with a notable increase to 91K by late December. Active users increased to a peak of approximately 2.7M in early December before dropping to about 1.9M by the end of the quarter.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location saw a decline in downloads after an initial high of 107K in late October, ending the quarter at around 52K. However, active users showed a positive trend, rising to approximately 1.5M by the end of December.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a peak in weekly downloads at 69K in mid-December. The app's active users increased to about 3.5M in early December, before stabilizing around 3M by the end of the quarter.
